Once upon a time, I had a sister, Telese, who graciously gave me a sewing machine for Christmas. This of course was a welcome gift since I have the urge on occasion to create stuff. In order to not disgrace the gift giver I have finally created something with the blessed machine.
There is always some fabric lying around, hopefully it looks and feels "vintage" enough to meet the approval of other members in the family (you know who you are). So what starts as fabric and thread becomes a very functional addition to the home, again to meet the "functional" criteria of other members of the family (you know who you are).
Just remember what may take some only an hour, thus the title of the pattern, "The one-hour Apron," can easily been finished in just 4 hours for those of us with doctoral degrees. A special thanks to the sewing mentors on this project (you know who you are).

It's a hot little number don't you think?

Cute tosh, but you know if it took you 4 hours it would probably take me 6 or so. My sewing skills leave more to be desired. Wish I was there to sew with you. miss you
